Privacy policy

Updated 10/09/2026

This policy explains how ItsDone.uk (IPMA-UK LTD) collects and uses personal data. It should be read with our terms of service.

For privacy questions, data access, or deletion, email [email protected].

Data we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Account details: name, email, username, and password (if you set one).
  • Profile, listing, task, portfolio, and message content you choose to post.
  • Location you share, such as a postcode or approximate coordinates, where a feature needs it.
  • Technical logs: IP address, browser type, and similar data needed to run and secure the site.

Facebook and Google sign-in

If you continue with Facebook or Google, we receive the information those providers share with us — typically your name, email address, and profile photo — so we can create or sign you into an account. We do not receive your Facebook or Google password. You can disconnect the app in your Facebook or Google account settings, and you can ask us to delete your ItsDone.uk account (see data deletion).

How we use data

We use personal data to operate the marketplace, create and secure accounts, show listings and messages, prevent abuse, improve the product, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your personal data.

Legal bases

Where UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performing a contract with you (providing the service); legitimate interests (running and protecting a marketplace); and consent where we ask for it. You may withdraw consent where we rely on it.

Sharing

Public profile and listing content is visible to other users. We share data with service providers who host and operate the site (for example hosting, email, and sign-in), and when the law requires it. Facebook and Google process sign-in under their own policies when you use those buttons.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technology that are needed to keep you signed in and to run the site. We do not use advertising cookies to track you across other websites.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active, and for a limited time afterwards if we need it for security, disputes, or legal records. See data deletion to ask us to remove your account.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and in some cases restriction or objection. To use these rights, email [email protected]. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
